(Chatsworth, Ca)- Sin City Entertainment announced earlier today the
unveiling of a new micro site specifically devoted to the promotion of
Francois Clousot's newest epic Ultra title, the highly anticipated sequel to
Riptide entitled Undertow. The big budget surf film takes things one step
further than its predecessor, hyping up the action and the sexual heat,
while the micro site allows fans of Sin City Ultra features an exclusive
sneak peek into the world of the film.
"We've experimented with using these types of micro sites to promote other
titles we have released and have always been happy with the result,"
explains Sin City's General Manager, Scott Justice. "This is a place for
fans to go to see the streaming trailer, to see photo galleries and live on
the set interviews with the Sin City contract stars, and even to enter in
our contest to win a free trip to Hawaii and other fabulous prizes. It is
our most ambitious promotion to date."
The site, http://www.sincity.com/undertow, features interviews with Sin City
contract stars Hannah Harper, Aurora Snow, and Shay Sweet, as well as
costars Shayna Knight and Tory Lane. It also allows for visitors to watch
the trailer in a low resolution, fast loading streaming mode or download a
high resolution version to watch at their own leisure. So far, even with the
limited amount of time it has been available, the micro site is shaping up
to be a popular destination for fans of adult entertainment.
"Millions of unique visitors have enjoyed our promotional micro sites since
we started developing them over a year ago," offers Win, Head of Sin City's
Internet Division.
"In the past we showed only the trailer and galleries. But, because of
thousands of requests from our fans, we have decided recently to include
Behind the Scenes and Interviews so that Sin City fans can gain further
appreciation of depth of the quality of our products."
"In order to jumpstart the Undertow contest Sin City's contract girls, the
stars of the movie, will be giving away a limited number of copies live from
the booth in Vegas on a first come first serve basis," explains Sin City's
publicist, Devan Cypher. "That way fans will be able to watch the title in
its entirety, which they will need to do in order to enter our amazing
contest kicking off later this week. With the kinds of prizes we are giving
away, I guarantee you this is one promotion fans of adult entertainment are
not going to want to miss!"
Fans dropping by the booth will also be able to pick up promotional DVD's
that feature trailers of both Undertow and Jim Power's Mayhem sequel,
Dementia 2, as well as behind the scenes photo galleries and a custom code
for purchasing both titles at a reduced rate from TLA video online.
"It's a fantastic tool to help consumers and distributors get a feel for
what we have created," explains national sales manager Danny Gorman.
"Already since the trailer has been up I have started getting calls from
people interested in acquiring copies."
