CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A lawyer for a former dentist accused of squirting semen into the mouths of female patients expects a grand jury to charge his client as early as next week.

Defense lawyer George Laughrun said he expects misdemeanor counts of assault on a female against Dr. John Hall to go to the Mecklenburg County grand jury Monday. Mecklenburg Assistant District Attorney David Maloney confirmed to The Charlotte Observer that he plans to submit seven counts to the grand jury.

Hall, 44, has denied the allegations, but could face up to 120 days in prison if convicted on the charges.

Until August, when the N.C. Board of Dental Examiners revoked his license, Hall practiced in Cornelius, a suburb north of Charlotte.

At the hearing, former patients testified that Hall squirted a foul-tasting substance from a syringe into their mouths. In all, Hall was accused of injecting semen into the mouths of six female patients.

In testimony before the dental board, Hall denied the allegations.

``I have never injected semen in any patient's mouth,'' he said. ``I never would. I've got a 10-year-old daughter. That whole concept is so beyond me.''

Police searched Hall's office and confiscated syringes after several employees said they were suspicious of the dentist's behavior. DNA tests on the syringes later showed they contained Hall's semen.

Hall said he was collecting his semen to track the side effects of a hair-growth drug. Potential side effects of the drug include low sperm count and diminished semen.

One of Hall's alleged victims, a 38-year-old woman from Cornelius, told The Observer she was glad he will face criminal charges, although she wishes they were more severe.

``I know the prosecutors' hands are tied,'' she said. What Hall is accused of doing, she said, is ``so sleazy and disgusting it doesn't fit under any type of law.''

FRED DURST STRIKES BACK

Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst is suing 10 Web site operators who posted the rocker's homemade sex tape after it was stolen from his computer -- possibly by the same hackers who got into reality-television star Paris Hilton's cell phone.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court last week, seeks more than $70 million in damages and any profits the site operators reaped in recent weeks, when the 3-minute clip of Durst and a former girlfriend began appearing on the Internet.

In the complaint, Durst contends the 2003 video was never meant for public viewing. It was stored in Durst's home computer, but hackers managed to break into the computer remotely and make a copy, according to the lawsuit.

In December, Durst's manager was contacted by the owner of an adult video firm who asked whether the singer would be interested in making the video available commercially. Durst's attorneys then sent letters ordering the defendants to stop.

The lawsuit claims the site operators invaded Durst's privacy and misappropriated his name and likeness. Durst, who secured the copyrights to the video before filing the lawsuit, also claims the Web sites are guilty of violating U.S. copyright laws.

Since the lawsuit was filed, many of the Web sites have said they would pull the clip. "Most of them have purported to comply," Ed McPherson, Durst's attorney, said Tuesday.

McPherson said federal investigators were looking at whether the hacking incident involving Durst's computer was related to one involving Hilton. Recently, the contents of her mobile phone -- phone numbers and e-mail addresses -- were posted on the Internet.

The Durst sex tape was still available for downloading Tuesday on at least one of the Web sites -- listed in the lawsuit as being operated by Peerl Network Inc. of San Jose, California.

Peerl Network was one of several defendants whose phone numbers could not be found or were unlisted.

A Westside High School teacher in Anderson has been suspended with pay after police said they found her with a 17-year-old T.L. Hanna High School male student in a parked vehicle.

Prosecutor Chrissy Adams says 33-year-old Donna Carr Galloway will not face criminal charges because of the student's age. Adams says authorities can file a criminal sexual conduct with a minor charge in cases involving children younger than 16.

An Anderson County sheriff's report says Galloway was found with the male student about 11:30 Friday night at a boat ramp. Anderson District Five Superintendent Betty Bagley says the teen had never attended Westside and apparently met Galloway outside of school activities.

MUSEUM PIECE: USED BREAST IMPLANT

MIAMI (Reuters) - A former stripper once cleared of battering a customer with her enormous breasts sold one of her silicone implants on eBay to the same company that recently bought a grilled cheese sandwich said to bear the image of the Virgin Mary.

Internet casino company GoldenPalace.com won the bid for the infamous implant at $16,766 on Saturday, according to the eBay Web site and the seller, known professionally as Tawny Peaks. She advertised a 69-HH bra size before her implants were removed in 1999.

There was no word yet on what the online gambling company planned to do with the implant.

Last year GoldenPalace paid $28,000 for a 10-year-old, partly eaten grilled cheese sandwich with an image many likened to the Virgin Mary. The company sent the sandwich on a national publicity tour, encased in clear plastic.

Peaks has retired from the entertainment business, and put one of the implants up for auction last week. She said she was overwhelmed and exhausted by the flood of e-mailed bids.

"It's over and I'm happy," said Peaks, now a homemaker living in the Detroit area.

She won fame in 1998 when a patron at the Diamond Dolls nightclub in Clearwater, Florida, sued her, claiming he suffered a whiplash injury when she swung her breasts into his face. He said they were "like two cement blocks."

The case went to arbitration on "The People's Court" television show and the judge, former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, ordered a female bailiff to examine Peaks in private.

The bailiff found the breasts to be "soft" and to weigh about 2 pounds (0.9 kg) each. Koch ruled they were not dangerous and refused to award damages.

Peaks said she has since become "kind of a recluse."

"My old fans don't really know what I look like now," she said.
